Portrait of an Iris
This is a single Iris done on a gallery wrapped 6"x6" canvas painted on the edges. It is 1 1/2" deep. I call these pieces shelf art becuse they are perfect for displaying in groupings on a shelf or can be displayed on a wall with or without a frame. This painting will be available at the Red Wing Arts Association after Thanksgiving for the Holiday Show.

Red Tulips
This is a lesson painting. I learned a number of new techniques while doing the DVD lesson by a wonderful artist, Jaqueline Gnott. I'm satisfied with the result and am looking forward to doing more florals.

Lilies for Monet
Lilies always seem so tranquil in their secluded ponds. The flowers are a surprising splash of color surrounded by somber colored vegetation. I painted this piece in a quick loose style.
